Inside Oven and Refrigerators
Gator Clean offers complete cleaning of your oven and refrigerator interiors. To schedule this service, please contact your Gator Clean office prior to your scheduled service so that we may bring the required cleaning agents and adjust for the additional time.

Windows
Gator Clean offers window cleaning at an additional rate. Due to our commitment to quality, your windows must tilt in to allow us to properly clean windows inside and out. Please ask your Gator Clean office for details.

One - Time - Cleaning
One-time-cleanings include move-ins and move-outs, spring-cleaning, service prior to a big event and other non-recurring services. All one-time services can be estimated. If additional time is needed, a Gator Clean representative will attempt to contact you while our staff is in your home. If you authorize additional time, our staff will continue to clean and your price will be adjusted accordingly. We will not use additional time without your prior approval.

Who will be cleaning my home?
A regularly assigned team of trained Service Professionals will clean your home. All employees are insured. Our Service Professionals will not eat, drink, smoke or use any appliances while inside your home.

Trust ?
We know we must earn your trust and approval each time we visit your home. That is why we does not ask you to sign a contract. We depend on open communication and your honest evaluation of our service. We appreciate when you let us know how we can serve you better.

Hours ?
Our normal workdays are Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.
On special arrangements we can help you outside this hours.
While in most cases it is not possible to give a specific time we will arrive, we will make every effort to meet your needs.

What do you have to do before the cleaning ?
So the time we spend in your home can be as efficient as possible, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys or other household items. On special arangements we can help you with this.

Define the Job
When interviewing a potential cleaning service, its important that both you and your cleaner clearly agree on what will be included for the quoted fee. Generally, your house cleaner is not responsible for "daily" clutter chores, like picking up after the kids, washing dishes or cleaning pets litter box. The general description of the job is "housecleaning", and you need to determine up front exactly what this description includes on each visit. It will be far easier for both you and your housecleaner when the expectations are spelled out and mutually understood right from the start.

What if something is damaged during the cleaning ?
We treat your home with complete care and respect. However, should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning, we will make every effort to repair or if necessary, replace the item. When appropriate, insurance claims will be filed.

Am I liable for the worker's insurance .... ?
Many homeowners are not aware of their personal liability regarding work related injury and social security taxes for independent home-service workers. No need to worry, we take care of all this for you.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment ?
"Yes" if you like that we use your supplies.
"No" we bring all the equipment and normal cleaning supplies.

Do I need to be home ?
Most of our customers are not home when we clean. Only the Professionals who will be cleaning your home will have access to your home. To insure added security, all house keys are individually coded and cross-referenced. If you choose not to provide a key and we are unable to access your home for a scheduled cleaning, you may incur a lockout charge.

What about holidays or changing a scheduled cleaning visit ?
If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service. If you need to change a scheduled cleaning visit we appreciate a 72-hour notice. When short notice is given, we may need to charge a fee if the team cannot be reassigned.

How do I pay for the service ?
Most customers find it convenient to simply leave a check in the home, made payable to Gator Clean (Gator Blinds parent company). Payment is made on the day of each cleaning visit.

Pets
Family pets can pose a problem for the houscleaner who doesnt know whether the big, barking dog is excited friendly or excited angry. Should the cat be let in (or let out) by the team? If your pet has been locked in a room, you dont want the cleaner to drop dead of a heart attack when she opens the door, only to be greeted by a lunging big dog! If possible, leave your pets outside on your cleaning day. Its a lot easier to clean the house without the cat chasing the mop or having the dog freak out when the vacuum cleaner is turned on. If pets will be in the home when your housecleaners arrive, be sure that they have been warned ahead of time like, "dont let the cat out when you come," or "dont worry about my dogs barking."

Tipping
For those working in the service industry, be it as a waiter, taxi driver, bellman, hair dresser, manicurist, parking attendant or a housecleaner, tips are always appreciated. It is appropriate to tip your housecleaners when deserved. While 15% to 18% is considered the norm for good service in most industries, 10% of the cleaning fee is generally deemed appropriate for housecleaners. However, the decision as to whether to tip and how much to leave is entirely a personal matter; it is not a mandatory obligation. Should you choose to leave a gesture of appreciation for your cleaning crew, a gift of cash rather than a check is the practice preferred by most housecleaners.
